The Monmouth Beach Cultural Center Board of Trustees is proud to host a series of musical events free of charge and open to the public. The series is dedicated to the memory of Richard L. Keller, Jr. (1937-2011), who was the MBCC’s founding Director.
Here are the upcoming performances:

Mission Statement:
“The mission of the Richard L. Keller Memorial Music Series is to bring people together through music to help promote and develop an awareness for volunteerism, community service, and an appreciation for local history and culture.”
2012 Goals:
• Present a series of musical shows open to the public and free of charge.
• Showcase and increase membership and volunteers for Monmouth Beach Cultural Center and other local organizations and charities.
• Develop a scholarship fund to encourage young people to take part in and give back to the community.

Note: Richard L. Keller was the Monmouth Beach borough’s longest serving police chief (1972 to 1994). He also served as the volunteer director of the MB Cultural Center from 2000 to 2008. Born in Long Branch, he and his wife Pat had four children, Colleen, Dickie, Johnny, and Kathy.
